Located in the bustling city centre of Brighton, Charles Busby House has 9 self-contained one-bedroom flats. We provide housing management support for adults aged 18 and over, who are homeless, or at risk of being homeless, and have a learning disability, physical disability or mental health need.

Staff draw up a personalised support plan with residents using the Outcomes Star model.

Staff availability

Staff can provide support during office hours, Monday to Friday, to provide low-level housing management support.

Additional support services

Additional support is available from the outreach service provided by Pembroke Crescent, if required.Care and Support


To be eligible for a place at Charles Busby House, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Be able to prove a connection to Brighton and Hove
  • Require low-level housing management support
  • Have a learning disability, physical disability or mental health need

How to apply

To apply directly, please complete the enquiry form below and ask for an application form. We also accept referrals from Brighton and Hove City Council.

Referrals may also be accepted for tenants who are moving on from another local Sanctuary Supported Living service. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
