Chelmsford Homelessness Supported Housing is comprised of 26 bedrooms in shared houses, spread across two locations in Chelmsford. We provide support for adults aged 18 to 65, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Staff availability

Our highly-trained staff are on-site during the day, seven days a week. There is an overnight concierge service and an out-of-hours telephone service, should residents require any further support.

  • Managing finances (budgeting and benefits)
  • Cooking, cleaning and shopping
  • Building confidence, resilience and self-esteem
  • Accessing education, training and employment
  • Dealing with correspondence
  • Managing rent and rent arrears
  • Maintaining health, safety and security
  • Signposting and accessing other services
  • Planning a successful move-on

Additional support services

We also offer follow-on support when residents move on to live independently, for up to three months.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a place at Chelmsford Homelessness Supported Housing, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 to 65
  • Be homeless or at risk of homelessness
  • Have a local connection to the Chelmsford area

How to apply

To apply, please complete the enquiry form below and ask for an application form. We also accept referrals from the Joint Referral Panel at Chelmsford City Council, please contact them for an application form. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
