About us

Roebuck Close offers ten one bedroom apartments providing short term accommodation and support for adults aged 18 and over with a range of mental health needs. The service supports people for up to twelve months to help prevent homelessness, develop independent living skills and enable positive move on into longer term independent accommodation.

Alongside this, Blackburn Floating Support provides short term support of up to nine months for adults with mental health needs who are at risk of homelessness, helping them to sustain their tenancy and live independently.

Am I eligible?

To be eligible for support from Roebuck Close, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Have a mental health need and require support
  • Live in the Blackburn area

How do I apply?

We do not accept self referrals.


All referrals are made through Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council.
