About us
Roebuck Close has 10 one-bedroom apartments. We provide support for adults aged 18 and over, with a range of mental health needs, encouraging them to develop their skills and live as independently as possible.
- Staff on-site during office hours, five days per week
- Short-term supported housing for up twelve months
- Communal laundry room and garden

Location
A residential area of Blackburn, within walking distance of the shops and amenities in the town centre, as well as public transport links.
Accommodation type
10 furnished one-bedroom apartments, each with a bedroom, lounge/diner, kitchen and shower room.
Communal areas
A shared laundry room and communal garden.
Safety and security
Staff office on-site, CCTV and a secure door access system help to ensure residents’ safety and security.
Technology
We can provide assistive technology for extra safety and reassurance, which can be purchased at additional cost.
Rental agreement type
All apartments are let on an assured shorthold tenancy agreement.

Am I eligible?
To be eligible for support from Roebuck Close, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Have a mental health need and require support
- Live in the Blackburn area
How do I apply?
We do not accept self referrals.
All referrals are made through Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council.
