Blackberry Court is a brand-new retirement living community within The Maples retirement village in Streethay, near Lichfield, offering rental apartments and bungalows for people aged 55 and over.
Designed to offer comfort, independence and peace of mind, Blackberry Court has everything you need to enjoy a happy, fulfilling retirement.

At Blackberry Court, you’ll find:

- Staff on-site 24 hours a day and assistive technology built in to help you make the most of every day

At the heart of Blackberry Court is the 1085 Restaurant, where residents and visitors can enjoy freshly prepared meals in a warm and welcoming setting.
Open for breakfast, lunch, light refreshments and evening dining*, it's the ideal place to meet family and friends, catch up over a coffee or enjoy a relaxing meal as part of the local community.
We regularly offer special menus and themed events throughout the year, and the restaurant has a food hygiene rating of 5 from the Food Standards Agency.

How do I apply?
- Contact us for an application form or contact Lichfield District Council.
We’ll arrange for you to visit and meet us.
We’ll help you to complete a housing assessment and affordability form, as you may be eligible for financial assistance towards your rent and part of your service charge.
While you’re here, we may assess if you would benefit from care and support services, and our care provider may arrange to visit you at home to discuss your needs. For your care to be funded by Lichfield District Council, you must have had your needs assessed and approved by the adult social care team.
