Set between the quaint villages of Chatteris and Benwick, Doddington Court has a range of apartments and communal facilities for over 60s. 

Designed to offer comfort, independence and peace of mind, Doddington Court has everything you need to enjoy a happy, fulfilling retirement.

The well-maintained gardens offer a peaceful outdoor escape. The addition of semi-circle bulges to the walkways to allow for a communal seating area.
A beautifully airy twin bedroom, featuring two light grey divan beds decorated in satin bedding. A pair of bedside tables nestle between the beds, a large pair of french doors allow a mass amount of natural light.
A bold green and white floral-patterned wallpaper creates a cosier feel to the small seating area. The green carpet compliments the decoration and simple neutral armchairs, and small circular coffee tables soften the look of the room.

Our building

Doddington Court has a communal lounge, restaurant, guest suite, hair salon, games room and a landscaped garden. There are lifts to all floors and level access throughout.

Your apartment

Your new apartment is unfurnished so you can make it your own. It has an open plan lounge and fitted kitchen, one or two double bedrooms, and a level-access shower room.

Residents can enjoy a range of social activities and events, making it easy to meet new people and become part of the community. There's no obligation to take part - you can take part as often as you want.

The daytime reception, 24-hour care staff on site and secure door entry to the building and your apartment help you to feel safe and secure.

Technology

There is Wi-Fi in communal areas. Pull cords are fitted in every apartment, and optional assistive technology is available to complement your lifestyle. This can be purchased at an additional cost.

Rent or leasehold icon

Renting

Apartments are available to rent for one or two people. You may be eligible for financial assistance towards your rent from Cambridgeshire County Council.

Restaurant and dining

Our on-site restaurant is open to residents and visitors from 9am-3pm, seven days a week* for breakfast, lunch and snacks.  

If you live nearby, enjoy a meal out in our restaurant with your family and friends.  

We regularly have special menus to celebrate special occasions throughout the year and our restaurant has a food hygiene rating of 5 from the Food Standards Agency.

You may be eligible for financial support, such as Housing Benefit or Universal Credit, to help cover your rent and part of your service charge.

For your care to be funded by Cambridgeshire County Council, you must have had your needs assessed and approved by the adult social care team.
