About us

Pennefather Court is a residential care home with 14 bedrooms and two single-occupancy flats.

We provide residential care and support for 14 adults aged 18 to 64, with a range of learning disabilities, physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the national independent regulator of all health and social care services in England.

They inspect and monitor care homes, nursing homes and supported housing where personal care is provided and produce reports about them, to help you find a service that suits you.

14 part-furnished bedrooms and two one-bedroom flats, all on the ground floor, with staff offices located on the first floor. There is level access throughout the building.

A lounge, dining room, kitchen, accessible bathroom, laundry room and shared level-access garden. Wi-Fi is available throughout.

The on-site staff office and a secure door access system help to ensure residents’ safety and security.



Free Wi-Fi in communal areas. Integrated emergency pull cord alarm system and overhead hoist throughout. Personal pendant alarms are available if required.


Residency agreement type 

All bedrooms are let on a placement agreement.

To be eligible for a place at Pennefather Court, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 to 64
  • Have a learning disability, physical disability or acquired brain injury
  • Require 24-hour residential care
