About us
Birmingham Intensive Housing Management supports adults aged 18 and over, helping them manage and maintain their tenancies. We operate across four buildings: Bridgeburn Road (Northfield), Sandwood House (Edgbaston), Primrose House (Handsworth Wood) and Sandybanks (Erdington).
- Low level, intensive housing management support
- Up to three hours of support available per week

Accommodation
Location
Each property is located near local amenities such as shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, bus stops, and parks.
Accommodation type
Four services comprising 32 single-occupancy bedrooms and three one-bedroom apartments. Each apartment has a bedroom, lounge/diner, kitchen, and bathroom.
Communal areas
Shared spaces at each property includes a lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, garden, and laundry room. Sandybanks also has a conservatory.
Safety and security
Staff office on-site, CCTV and an out-of-hours telephone service help to ensure residents’ safety and security.
Technology
Free Wi-Fi in communal areas. We can provide assistive technology for extra safety and reassurance, which can be purchased at additional cost.
Rental agreement type
All properties are let on an assured shorthold tenancy agreement.

To apply, please complete the enquiry form below and ask for an application form. We also accept referrals from mental or physical health care services, probation services, or homelessness services.
