About us
Cavendish Lodge provides supported housing accommodation and personalised support for adults aged 18 or over, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
- Staff on-site during office hours, with overnight concierge
- Short-term supported housing for up to two years
- Communal lounge, kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room and garden

Close to shops, restaurants, parks, leisure facilities, colleges and public transport links.
Accommodation type
29 bedrooms including three Rough Sleeper Initiative rooms.

Communal areas include a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and garden.
Safety and security
Staff office on-site, CCTV and a secure door access system help to ensure residents’ safety and security.
Wi-Fi
Communal Wi-Fi is available to all residents.
Rental agreement type
All rooms are let on excluded licence agreements.

Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a place at Cavendish Lodge, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Be homeless or at risk of homelessness
- Require low or medium support and be assessed as low risk
How do I apply?
All applications must go through Ipswich Borough Council's Housing Related Support (HRS) team, and we cannot accept direct applications. For more information about the referral process, please contact us using the form below. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
