About us
We provide supported housing for adults with mental health needs who have faced homelessness. Structured welcome packs and house rules are in place for everyone’s wellbeing and safety, as well as a reliable referral and feedback system with social workers and local authorities.

24/7 tailored support which promotes independence.

Location
North Witham in walking distance of the town centre shops, supermarkets, the park railway station and bus links.
Accommodation type
29 self-contained fully-furnished one-bedroom flats and three studio flats spread across two buildings. Two studio flats have accessible bathrooms.
Communal areas
Shared garden and laundry facilities.
Safety and security
CCTV, secure door access system, staff office onsite (or close by), night concierge and out of hours support service.
Technology
Wi-Fi in some communal areas.
Rental agreement type
Rooms are let on assured shorthold tenancy agreement.

Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a place at Coverdale & Freebournes Court, applicants must be:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Homeless with a mental health need
- Require a minimum level of support hours

To apply complete Chelmsford City Council’s application for housing-related support or speak to their Housing Options Team.
All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
