Overview

Ealing Care Services supports men and women with mental health needs to take positive steps towards recovery while having access to CQC-registered care and support whenever it's needed.

With round-the-clock support from our experienced team, we help people build confidence, develop life skills and achieve the goals that matter most to them, whether someone is taking their first steps towards independence or working towards a longer-term goal.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the national independent regulator of all health and social care services in England.

They inspect and monitor care homes, nursing homes and supported housing where personal care is provided and produce reports about them, to help you find a service that suits you.

Free Wi-Fi in communal areas. We can provide assistive technology for extra safety and reassurance, which can be purchased at additional cost.

Care and support

Personalised Support

We take a personalised, recovery-focused approach, recognising that everyone's journey is different. Working closely with each person, we develop tailored support plans that reflect their strengths, goals and aspirations, helping them make meaningful progress towards greater independence. Support is managed using Nourish, digital care and support planning, allowing care and support plans to be updated in real time as needs change.

Staying well

With staff available on-site 24 hours a day, we provide practical and emotional support to help people maintain their wellbeing, manage their mental health and navigate the challenges of everyday life. This can include support with medication, attending appointments, developing coping strategies, recognising early signs of relapse and accessing specialist support when needed.

Building independent living skills

We support people to develop the skills and confidence needed to live independently. This includes managing a tenancy, budgeting, maintaining a home, establishing daily routines and taking greater control of personal wellbeing. Progress is regularly reviewed and achievements are recognised and celebrated.

Community connections and opportunities

Building strong community connections is an important part of recovery and wellbeing. We encourage and support people to build positive relationships, pursue hobbies and interests, access education, training and employment opportunities, and take part in local activities. We work closely with organisations including the Specialist Outreach Team and Community Activities Project Ealing (CAPE), helping people access opportunities that promote confidence, social inclusion and emotional wellbeing.

Applying

Am I eligible?

Ealing Care Services supports men and women with a range of mental health needs, including people moving on from inpatient services, those receiving support from Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) or Community Treatment Orders (CTOs), and individuals who require support to maintain their accommodation, wellbeing and independence within the community. 

You may be eligible for a place at Ealing Care Services if you: 

  • Are aged 18 to 65 
  • Have a medium to high mental health support need 
  • Would benefit from a recovery-focused supported living environment

How do I apply?

We welcome self-referrals, as well as referrals from local authorities, Community Mental Health Teams, NHS Trusts, hospital discharge teams and other health and social care professionals. Referrals from any local authority are accepted. 

To apply, please complete the enquiry form below and request an application form. Every referral is assessed individually to ensure we can meet a person's needs, aspirations and support goals.

Applicants with a history of addiction must be actively engaged in a rehabilitation programme before a referral is made and commit to continuing with the programme.
