About us

Located in a residential area of Felixstowe, Montague Road is a specialist mental health and dementia care home with 24 fully-furnished en-suite rooms.

We provide care and support for up to 24 adults aged 55 and over, with mental health needs.

Commodious patio seating area with retracting cover for the pergola, covering three two-seater sofas and multiple tables. The garden is given privacy by large hedges and pretty flowerpots with no step access back through double doors into the property.
Peaceful, water feature area fenced off from the walkways, surrounded by a mix of different sized stones and rocks to create a rock pool. The addition of the cute frog feature and water plants create a harmonious space.
A charming in-house hair salon, with a delicate pastel, bird patterned feature wall. Amongst the multiple salon chairs, wall mounted hair washing sink, hair dressing trolley and extended worktop along the wall.
A sizable room, featuring numerous purple seating options, placed perfectly around the sensory objects, as well as having room to manoeuvre the room.
Comfortable, well-equipped bedroom, with assisted living features for the single bed and electric cream plush armchair. With multiple windows allowing an airy feel, and an abundance of homely touches.
Tranquil Garden view bedroom, with assisted living featured single bed central to the room. Mass amounts of wooden furniture such as, wardrobe, two sets of chests of draws, bed side table and a comfortably placed mirror and television.

Applying

Am I eligible?

To be eligible for a place at Montague Road, applicants must:

  • Be aged 55 or over
  • Have a mental health need requiring 24-hour care and support

How do I apply?

To apply, contact us directly or through your social worker. We also accept referrals from Suffolk County Council and the local Integrated Care Board (ICG).

We accept self-funders, as well as local authority and NHS funding. All care and support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
