Located in Chester's Newton district, less than a mile from Chester city centre, Kingswood provides modern apartments, bungalows and communal facilities for people aged 55 and over. 

Designed to offer comfort, independence and peace of mind, Kingswood has everything you need to enjoy a happy, fulfilling retirement.

Kingswood has a residents' lounge, activity rooms, hairdressing and beauty salon, laundry facilities, guest suite, landscaped gardens, and community centre. There are lifts to all floors and level access throughout.

Your new home is unfurnished so you can make it your own. We offer one and two-bedroom apartments and bungalows, each with a living room, fitted kitchen and walk-in shower room.

How do I apply?
 

  1. Contact us for an application form or contact Cheshire West and Chester Council. 

  1. We’ll arrange for you to visit and meet us. 

  1. We’ll help you to complete a housing assessment and affordability form, as you may be eligible for financial assistance towards your rent and part of your service charge. 

  1. While you’re here, we may assess if you would benefit from care and support services, and our care provider may arrange to visit you at home to discuss your needs. For your care to be funded by Cheshire West and Chester Council, you must have had your needs assessed and approved by the adult social care team.
