Working in close partnership, Sanctuary Supported Living and Suffolk County Council have committed to supporting the most vulnerable in the community through supported housing services, for a minimum of five years, with the option to extend until 2029.

The announcement brings hope to individuals, including young adults who have experienced or faced homelessness in areas including Ipswich, Lowestoft, Felixstowe, Sudbury, Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds. This new commitment is in addition to Sanctuary Supported Living’s supported housing with care services for people with learning disabilities or mental health needs in the county.

This contract will improve prospects not only for vulnerable individuals across the county but through securing more jobs with career and development opportunities for local people.”
