The team at Tony Long House celebrates its latest CQC inspection result.
A Swindon care home has been recognised for its continued commitment to high-quality care after retaining its overall ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Sanctuary Supported Living’s Tony Long House, which provides accommodation and personal care for adults with sensory impairments, physical disabilities and learning disabilities, was rated ‘Good’ across all five areas assessed by inspectors: safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. The result maintains the overall ‘Good’ rating achieved at its previous inspection in 2020.

The report highlighted the positive experiences of residents, with one person telling inspectors: “I love it here, I have been here a long time,” while another commented: “I feel safe living here.
Inspectors praised the service's commitment to helping people live as independently as possible, noting that residents were actively involved in decisions about their care and support. The report also recognised the compassionate culture at Tony Long House, highlighting the strong relationships between residents and colleagues, and the opportunities for people to share feedback and help shape the service.
