Sanctuary Supported Living staff celebrating their Housing with Care Employer Award win.
Sanctuary Supported Living’s teams across the country are celebrating their success after winning the ‘Housing with Care Employer Award’ at the recent national Housing with Care industry awards.
The win at this year’s Housing with Care Awards follows on from last year's win in the ‘Supported Housing Award’ category at the Learning Disability and Autism Awards, recognising that compassionate and dedicated people are at the heart of its success.
Through an innovative leadership programme and ‘Be Your Best’ ethos, this ‘Employer Award’ win accentuates that Sanctuary Supported Living has created a workplace where colleagues feel valued, heard and inspired to grow, through meaningful development opportunities, strong peer support and a shared sense of purpose. Judges commented that: “Their commitment to transparency keeps staff informed, valued, and engaged at all levels. Many examples show how this culture empowers teams to deliver outstanding care, proving that staff dedication truly makes the difference.”
This year also marks the third consecutive year of success at the national Housing with Care Awards, reflecting Sanctuary Supported Living’s commitment to providing customers with the highest quality housing, care and support, ensuring that they can achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible.
In addition to the Housing with Care Awards, Sanctuary Supported Living has two exceptional managers shortlisted in this year’s national Housing Heroes Awards which takes place at the end of the month. In a fiercely competitive field of over 350 nominations, Area Service Manager, Kate Shaw, and Local Service Manager, Tanya Keeling, have emerged as leading contenders in the Inspirational Leader of the Year and Inspirational Colleague of the Year, respectively.
“I’m incredibly proud of our teams for this well-deserved recognition."
Sanctuary Supported Living’s Operations Director, Dave Shaw, said: “I’m incredibly proud of our teams for this well-deserved recognition. Winning an Employer Award is testament to the passion, dedication and heart that our colleagues bring to their work every day. At Sanctuary Supported Living, we believe in supporting people to be their best - whether that’s our customers or our colleagues, and everything we do is tailored around achieving that goal.
