The Baskeyfield House Taste restaurant team celebrating their recent FSA rating

The catering team at Sanctuary Supported Living’s Baskeyfield House, a retirement community in Stoke, have been awarded another top rating of 5 by the Food Standards Agency, following a recent unannounced inspection.

The Food Standards Agency’s rating system, which ranges from 0 to 5, is based on factors including food handling, cleanliness, and management. The latest 5 rating for Baskeyfield House’s Taste restaurant follows their previous top-marks rating at the last inspection in 2022.

Baskeyfield House offer self-contained apartments with onsite amenities and communal gardens for people aged 55 and over. The retirement service’s Taste restaurant is open at lunchtimes, seven days a week for residents, their family and friends, as well as members of the local community, and aims to provide a friendly and social dining experience at a great price.

Current winter menu favourites include lamb hotpot, honey roast gammon, and fish and chip Fridays, with delicious desserts available to accompany all main meals, as well as a lite bite menu for those with smaller appetites.
