Located in a quiet area of Ipswich, Sidegate Lane is a residential nursing home with 24 en-suite rooms. We provide nursing care and support for up to 24 adults aged 18 and over, with mental health needs.

24 fully-furnished en-suite rooms spread over two floors in a nursing home, with level access throughout. There is WiFi in all communal areas.

Staff office on-site and a secure door access system to ensure residents’ safety and security.

Bed and chair sensors that monitor movement, a hoist system and personal pendant alarms are available.


Care and support planning

Staff draw up a personalised care and support plan with residents. We provide 24-hour nursing care and support, including personal care, depending on individual needs.

Our highly-trained staff are on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, giving residents peace of mind that support is always on-hand.

To be eligible for a place at Sidegate Lane, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Have a mental health need requiring 24-hour nursing care and support
  • Meet the criteria for funding from Suffolk County Council

How to apply

To apply directly, please complete the enquiry form below and ask for an application form.

We also accept referrals from Suffolk County Council, as well as the local Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). All care and support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
