Pennefather Court is a residential care home with 14 bedrooms and two single-occupancy flats. We provide residential care and support for 14 adults aged 18 to 64, with a range of learning disabilities, physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries.

The staff are very respectful; they always knock on my door before entering my room.

They inspect and monitor care homes, nursing homes and supported housing where personal care is provided and produce reports about them, to help you find a service that suits you.



Close to the centre of Aylesbury, with easy access to shops, cafés, a cinema, Vale Park, Aylesbury Theatre and public transport links.

14 part-furnished bedrooms and two one-bedroom flats, all on the ground floor, with staff offices located on the first floor. There is level access throughout the building.

A lounge, dining room, kitchen, accessible bathroom, laundry room and shared level-access garden. Wi-Fi is available throughout.

The on-site staff office and a secure door access system help to ensure residents’ safety and security.

Integrated emergency pull cord alarm system and overhead hoist throughout. Personal pendant alarms are available if required.

Care and support planning

Staff draw up a personalised care and support plan with residents using the Life Star model. We can provide 24-hour residential care and support, including personal care, depending on individual needs.

Staff availability

Our highly-trained staff are on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, giving residents peace of mind that support is always on-hand.

Residents can purchase assistive technology to further promote their independence and reduce their need for support whilst still feeling safe.

To be eligible for a place at Pennefather Court, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 to 64
  • Have a learning disability, physical disability or acquired brain injury
  • Require 24-hour residential care
