North Hampshire Mental Health Community Support Service

Basingstoke RG21 01256 465 334

We provide support to people aged 18 or over to better manage their mental health well-being and safety. This support is available to people who live in one of the following areas of North Hampshire: Basingstoke and Deane, Hart, Rushmoor and Alton.

At a glance

  • Mental health support available Monday to Friday, during office hours
  • Tailored and flexible support packages
  • Support in the home and local community

Support planning

Staff assist clients to complete a flexible and personalised support plan, to identify their personal goals and make the steps needed to better manage their health and live independently. We support people who live in their own homes as well as supporting people in the community.

Through a combination of drop-in sessions, telephone support, workshops, group activities and one-to-one support meetings, we help people make good decisions and positive changes to look after their mental health and improve their wellbeing.

Staff availability

Our highly-trained staff provide mental health support five days a week, during office hours. We provide weekly contact, but this can vary to suit the client’s needs.

We can support with

  • Self-managing mental health needs
  • Maintaining a tenancy and accommodation
  • Accessing education, work and training
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships
  • Managing finances (budgeting and benefits)
  • Maintaining health, safety and security
  • Building confidence, resilience and self-esteem
  • Socialising and community involvement
  • Signposting and accessing other services
